Dr. Rubina Azam is a Board Certified Pediatrician as well as Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Azam is also a member of the American Medical Association.

She did most of her Medical Training at Howard University Hospital, Washington, DC. Rubina completed Pediatric residency training at Austin Children hospital, Austin Texas in 2003. She also did one year of fellowship [extended training] in the neonatal intensive care unit at the University of Toronto, Canada.

Dr. Rubina Azam moved to Panama City Florida in Dec 2004, she has been serving the children of Bay County since then. In the beginning, Dr. Azam worked in a group practice until January 2008. In Feb of 2008, she opened her own Private Practice, Baldwin Pediatrix.

Dr. Rubina Azam is married and is a mother of two young children. As a mother, she understands exactly the challenges a mom goes through, and the concerns every mother has while raising a child. She spends her spare time with her family and friends. She believes in good family values and strong support system for every mother.

Dr. Azam is commited to providing her patients with the best care and the best service. She regards it and honor to be chosen as a Care Provider for her Patients.
Dr. Melanie Schlauder
Melanie Schlauder, MD

Dr. Melanie Schlauder is a member of the Academy of Pediatrics and an active member of the Florida Emergency Responder Team.

She received her M.S. in microbiology and worked as a microbiologist in Los Angeles before attending medical school with her husband at The Ohio State University. She completed her pediatric residency training at All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL in 2008.

After training, Dr. Schlauder moved to Boston and was blessed to enjoy two years at home with her young daughter and newborn son while her husband completed fellowship training in Dermatopathology. She then joined a large practice in Tampa as an attending pediatrician in their acute care clinic.

She joined the team at Baldwin Pediatrix in June 2011 after relocating to the Panama City area. She is very excited to be a part of this wonderful community and help it's beautiful children grow.

Dr. Schlauder and her husband feel called to medical missions and are active in their church community. They have served on medical mission trips to South Africa and China. She loves to watch her children sing and dance and looks forward to date nights with her husband.
Dr. Thomas Hermann
Thomas Hermann, MD

Dr. Thomas Hermann was Summa Cum Laude, graduating with a BS in Biology and received a minor in The Classics from Canisius College. Dr. Hermann received his medical degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He completed his post-graduate residency training through the SUNY at Buffalo Medical-Dental Consortium associated with The Women and Children's Hospital of Buffalo, NY. He served as interim Chief Resident during his third year. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and Buffalo Pediatric Society. He served on the Resident Executive Committee for the AAP from 2007-2008.

In August 2008, Dr. Hermann completed his three year residency outpatient training at Suburban Pediatrics and was a part of their team until joining Baldwin Pediatrics in September 2011.

In his free time, Dr. Hermann enjoys traveling, and rooting on his favorite sports teams.
