Rubina Azam, MD, FAAP, ABIHM, is a double board-certified physician who specializes in pediatric and adolescent medicine. At Baldwin Pediatrics, her welcoming practice in Panama City, Florida, Dr. Azam provides a full scope of primary care, preventive, and specialty medical services to children of all ages from the greater Bay County area. Dr. Rubina Azam believes in providing evidence-based medicine to all her patients.
With more than 15 years in practice, Dr. Azam is a highly respected pediatrician who spends a substantial amount of time getting to know her young patients through regular well-child checkups and developmental screenings. She also performs routine immunizations, same-day sick visits, and, as-needed, urgent care appointments.
As a physician who’s dedicated to improving the health and well-being of every young patient she treats, Dr. Azam is especially interested in finding effective management strategies and treatment solutions for children with chronic conditions like asthma, allergies, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
After earning her medical degree, Dr. Azam performed her residency training in pediatric medicine at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C., and Austin Children’s Hospital (now known as Dell Children’s Hospital) in Austin, Texas. She went on to complete extra training in the field of neonatal intensive care at the Hospital for Sick Children, a major pediatric teaching hospital in Toronto, Canada, that’s affiliated with Mount Sinai Hospital and the University of Toronto.
Dr. Azam completed her fellowship training in integrative and holistic medicine at the University of Arizona in Tucson under the direction of Dr. Andrew Weil. She’s board-certified in pediatric medicine as well as adolescent medicine.
